There seems to be a lot of cat lovers in the world of art, and famous painters such as Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali have left two-shot pictures of cats and cats. Japan is also famous for its large number of ukiyo-e prints with cat motifs. The cat that became a topic this time seems to have entered such a work. We interviewed the owner, Gouri Tachibana@Nekomu (@izuka1159), about Kotsubu, a Munchkin girl who made a wonderful collaboration with a masterpiece of ukiyo-e. Not a masterpiece posted on Twitter, but a picture of a cat. Kotsubu-chan, who is 4 years old, and the Great Wave off Kanagawa from the series Thirty-six Views of Mt. "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" is familiar with the large waves drawn dynamically on the left side. Kotsubu-chan is sitting with her back to the waves, matching the curves of her stoop and waves. The face is also sideways, but the right eye seems to be glancing at the camera. It's as if they want to hear your impressions. The owner then took a picture of the situation and posted it on Twitter with the caption, "It's as if the picture was like this from the beginning." We collected 179,000 “likes”. In the reply (reply), "I have an image that Hokusai-sensei would draw", "I wonder if he is clapping his hands in the other world", "This is exactly "Kanagawa Oki Nyamiura"", etc. We have received many compliments. "My daughter is also addicted to it" and "My child likes it too". In fact, this masterpiece is a product called "The Great Wave off Kanagawa Hokusai, a cat that enjoys masterpieces" sold by "Felissimo Nekobu" of the major mail order company "Felissimo". Some people posted pictures of their cats in replies. By the way, a video version has also been released, which shows him taking care of his paws and grooming his hair. I wonder if it's just my imagination that I can feel the "Edo style" somewhere, such as the lying posture and the expression that feels astringent.
