In January, the micro drone race team "RED BEE JUAVAC" was launched in Shirakawa-cho, Kamo-gun, Gifu Prefecture. There are 7 members from 6th grade to 42 years old in the county. While there are few race teams nationwide, we are practicing with the aim of producing the best pilots in Japan from the teams in order to improve the momentum of the competition locally. It was launched by Takahiro Tsuge (36), the principal of "JUAVAC Drone Expert Academy Gifu School" (Kawamata, the same town), which trains drone operation engineers. Mr. Tsuge said, "Drones are being used in various situations such as search and transportation, and have high future potential. I want children to come into contact with drones as soon as possible and expand their possibilities for the future." talk. The micro drone is a palm-sized aircraft that can reach speeds of 80 km / h in a straight line. It requires reflexes and dynamic visual acuity, and children can adapt faster in general, but it is expensive to equip and often has to go on an expedition to get into the race, which is a heavy financial burden. For this reason, Mr. Tsuge and Mr. Masahiro Tsukamoto (36), a team officer, cooperated to acquire sponsors from 10 companies from Gifu and Aichi prefectures, and established a system to support the activities of highly capable members. The practice base is "41 Drone Park" in Kato, the same town. Sponsor Yasuda Construction (Kamisami, the same town) remodeled the building that was a vegetable shop into a drone experience / practice facility. It is a large ups and downs course with gates and tunnels, and there are 3 routes for beginners, intermediates, and advanced users. The practice days are three times a week, and the youngest boy (12) is enthusiastic that he wants to take first place in tour races nationwide. On the 26th of this month, a race sponsored by the Academy Gifu School is scheduled at 41 Drone Park, where strengthening players who can receive support from sponsors will be selected. Since the general public can also enter, there is a possibility that the current members will be omitted from the selection. Mr. Tsuge says, "I want to make the player base thicker and eventually make it stronger than a professional team." The team color is red. Members fly around the country wearing the sponsor's logo and a striking red trainer with the Shirakawa-cho mark.
