Currently, I belong to the Digital Design Lab, a department for creating innovation, a new business of ANA Holdings.He joined ANA as a technical profession in 2009, and started in April 2016 after operating technical operations to create aircraft operating manuals for pilots and technical planning work for aircraft maintenance.I entered the digital design lab.

—— Why did you challenge a new business with the theme of drones and flying cars?
Originally, I was very interested in the new technology.At that time, the drone that had begun to rose and Uber announced a flying taxi concept called "Uber Elevate" in 2016, and it began to pay attention to the expansion that drones and flying cars will expand from that time.This is the trigger of thinking about the current business.
Currently, it is divided into two parts: a drone project and a flying car project.First of all, in this field, there are various uses such as aerial photography, surveying, inspection, and agriculture in this field, but what we are currently working on is delivery.We repeat demonstration experiments to launch a "drone delivery service" that uses drones for goods.
In December 2016, we launched a drone business project, and for about two years, we have been trial and error whether it can not be used for airplane inspections and a travel product that combines aerial photography services.However, in September 2018, one point was that the deregulation of the uninhabited zone could fly out of sight.
Although it is a long -term difficult challenge, the market will definitely grow in the future.So I focused on the drone delivery service to make use of ANA's strengths.Currently, we are conducting demonstration experiments while collaborating with various companies, but in FY2022, there is a plan to enable visual flights in the manned zone, so the drone delivery service in FY2022.I intend to put it practical.
—— How much luggage can you carry with a drone and what kind of scene do you play?
The drone we work on is a category of a maximum takeoff weight of less than 25kg, so we can still carry it about 5kg.So, what is the use of drones in the last one -mile piece that can carry it is pharmaceuticals and daily necessities.In order to launch a business to deliver such small items immediately, in November 2020, we are challenging a network in Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture, in combination with online medical treatment.
